After seeing some footage of the wave coming in I can see how people got into trouble. It looked like a regular wave but it just kept coming and coming! I can see myself just staring and going WTF instead heading for the high ground.

heard on one channel today that unofficially, Indonessia is estimating over 80,000 just there! so you can expect that toll to go even way higher than the 118,000 I heard today. then they expect that number to double with all the disease that will set in afterwards.
